Frédéric Vasseur, head of the Alfa Romeo team, also spoke.
"I am beyond excited about this opportunity, naturally I am excited about it and I thank Ferrari and Alfa Romeo for it. I’m looking forward to this experience, which will surely be great. Even so, I had to put aside the excitement for the test because I am focused on the first race of Formula 2. I want to be 100% dedicated to this weekend", underlines the German pilot.
Mattia Binotto, head of the Maranello Scuderia, regards Sakhir’s tests as another step in his learning. "We believe in the value of the Ferrari Driver Academy as a high-level program for young talents. The decision to give Charles Leclerc a seat is proof of that. We are delighted to give Mick and Callum the opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car. Mick has been part of the Ferrari Driver Academy Ferrari since January and Callum has been with us since 2017. They are two drivers who are definitely making progress. Piloting the SF90 in official tests such as those in Bahrain or Barcelona can be very useful at this stage of their careers", value.
Frédéric Vasseur, head of the Alfa Romeo team, also spoke. The Hinwil entity has distributed an official statement minutes after Ferrari to confirm Mick Schumacher for Wednesday.
"We are delighted to announce that Mick Schumacher and Callum Ilott will each complete a test day with Alfa Romeo. Discovering and nurturing young talents is in our DNA", said the boss of Alfa Romeo, Fréderic Vasseur.

Mick Schumacher does not mind being compared to his father, still convalescing today from a serious accident when he was skiing in Meribel (France) in December 2013. For the Prema rider it is an honor and he takes pressure as an aspect positive.
“Being compared to my father has never been a problem for me. To be compared with the best driver in the history of Formula 1 is what you want, since the fact that my father is my idol is very special. It is an honor to be compared to him because I simply dedicate myself to learning and trying to improve, ”says Mick in a video interview facilitated by Sabine Kehm, who was already her father’s right hand in communication matters.
Mick Schumacher during the interview is fortunate to have joined the Ferrari family, both because of his father’s successes with the Maranello team and because of the professional opportunity that it represents for a young man like him who wants to make his way into the world of Formula 1 and ensures that the experience has been very positive for him.
“I can learn a lot from Ferrari because they have a lot of experience and I want to work with them to achieve the highest levels. Ferrari opened its doors to me, its heart, and welcomed me into a family that has always been part of my family, «said the German, who throughout the season could do a test at the controls of a formula one, either with Scuderia Ferrari itself or with Alfa Romeo, which uses its engines.

Pérez will miss his second consecutive race, after being out of the British Grand Prix for having tested positive last Thursday and the result was repeated again this Friday, after he had kept a week of quarantine.
The Mexican will be replaced for the second consecutive race by the German Nico Hülkenberg, who already climbed to Racing Point the previous weekend, although he could not contest the race due to a mechanical problem.
Let’s hope that the Mexican driver can be back in the competition shortly.

F1 GP Spain
After the changes due to the pandemic, the Spanish race has gone from its traditional date in May to August and the Circuit is working hard to have everything ready for its great sporting event, although this year it will take place behind closed doors, like the rest of European tests.
It will be the 30th edition of the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit facilities. In sports, and with two races already contested, the championship fires ‘sparks’. With the Mercedes (Bottas and Hamilton) dominating, yet proving achievable, young talents are beginning to enforce their law.
At the Austrian Grand Prix, Leclerc was second, followed by Lando Norris. An unbeatable start for McLaren and Norris, who are ranked third overall for drivers and second for manufacturers. The home driver, Carlos Sainz, is also reaping admirable results, such as third place in the timed session at the Styrian Grand Prix.
On the other side of the coin, Ferrari, which despite the efforts of Charles Leclerc, ranks as the fifth team in the World Cup. Red Bull Racing, with a first round to forget, managed to get its drivers Verstappen and Albon into third and fourth places respectively in the second round.
The leading positions are quite tight, and Racing Point and Renault also play a role in this game. The Gauls also have an extra dose of motivation after announcing the signing of Fernando Alonso for next season, who will return to F1 with the team that gave him the two world titles of his record.

Sainz: "We are working in the right direction"
This weekend, the ‘Gran Circo’ will make its third stop of the year at the Hungaroring which, together with the two subsequent races at Silverstone, will decide who will be the men to watch out for in Catalan territory.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has unveiled the official image of the 2020 Formula telecharger 1xbet 1 Spanish Grand Prix, which this year will celebrate the 30th edition of the sporting event at the Montmeló track.
On at 16:33 CET
The image shows the fusion with two different scenarios: One of the highest level competitions in the world hosted in a city like Barcelona, which complements the motor activity with culture, gastronomy, leisure and much more.
On the one hand, the main straight of the Circuit, with the grandstand that characterizes it so much on the right, and with two cars running from some of the most historic teams (Ferrari and McLaren). This sector is, without a doubt, one of the most special and recognized of the route. On the other hand, the “Skyline” of Barcelona in the background, with some of the most emblematic buildings of the city.
In the year in which 30 editions of history and the relationship between the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and Formula 1 were added, the image was shown for the first time during the International Tourism Fair in Madrid, the scene where the Catalan track promotes this week its main attractions.
Ferrari returned to ‘give away’ a race in Mexico and Hamilton did not waste it. The Briton signed his 83rd victory in Formula One and continues to approach Schumacher’s absolute record (91). He is not yet world champion but in Austin, next weekend, he will have a second match ball for the title. It would be the sixth in his personal account, surpassing the five of the legendary Fangio.

1. Verstappen, an unforgivable mistake
Unforgivable mistake by Max Verstappen. He earned the right to start from pole on the track, the second of his career and the second of the year after Hungary. His superiority was such that the Dutchman had the two best times, but surprisingly Red Bull was not the one leading the grid at the start. The commissioners decided to sanction him with three places in it for having ignored a double yellow flag in his last attempt, caused by the Bottas accident.
It was not automatically investigated why the electronic marshaling system was not in yellow flag mode when it passed and the investigation was raised a posteriori due to various statements, including his own, causing the review of the telemetry and the video. The commissioners took it with caution, but the rules are the rules and they looked for the fairest decision to solve the ballot.
